GoLeadFree.org is a grassroots community of youth activists and others who take action together to promote the MISSION of reducing lead toxicity in people, wildlife, and the environment.

We're a network of students and others around the country and around the world who are passionate about GoLeadFree.org. We do this through outreach, education and advocacy. We encourage our peers to learn about GoLeadFree issues involving lead toxicity and to use our voices to advance the GOALS of GoLeadFree.org.

Go Lead Free Founder & President
Mark Wagner is a high school student from Tucson, Arizona who founded GoLeadFree.org after discovering that lead was the major cause of mortality of the highly endangered California Condor, as well as poisoning in eagles and other raptors who eat the carcasses or gut piles of animals killed with lead bullets. Unbeknownst to many hunters, they and their families are also at risk of lead poisoning from the finely dispersed lead in the meat of game killed with lead ammo. Alternatives to lead ammo already exist! Our generation needs to be involved as stakeholders to remove lead from the environment wherever it exists. Through education and advocacy, our voices can make a difference!

Mark is also an avid chemist, outdoorsman, wildlife photographer, musician, and sports car enthusiast.
