WHAT WE DO
GoLeadFree.org is a grassroots,
youth-led, nonprofit organization
that empowers our generation
to Get the Lead Out of the
environment, wildlife, and
people!
PROGRAMS & PROJECTS
Do you know anything about the GoLeadFree.org mission? Our mission is to reduce the amount of lead in the environment, because it is poisoning wildlife and people. It's that simple, and it's really important! Lead poisoning causes permanent neurological damage in adults, kids and wildlife. It's preventable!
GoLeadFree.org works on this mission through the research, education and advocacy projects discussed below.
GoLeadFree.org Challenge
The Challenge is simple, and you can make a difference by taking the Challenge now so that you can join our team and take on the GoLeadFree.org mission. There are many challenges to solve, and we need as many people, young and old, as possible to solve them!
Legislative Watch
GoLeadFree.org tracks legislation action that impacts GoLeadFree.org topics of concern, at the federal level, as well as at the local, state and international levels. This includes tracking regulatory action and rule-making. In doing so, GoLeadFree engages in advocacy and outreach to the public, lawmakers and regulators to advance GoLeadFree.org goals.
GoLeadFree.org TOPIC Tracker
Keeping track of research and recent developments in GoLeadFree.org topics is an important part of understanding our successes and challenges. GoLeadFree.org is an interdisciplinary field involving students, researchers, medical providers, and conservationists. We study the research and recent developments to effect change!
Social Media Influence
GoLeadFree.org leverages the vast social media presence and know-how of the youth generation to get the word out about oLeadFree.org goals. Today's youth communicate and amplify each other's voices through the power of social media, and GoLeadFree.org encourages all generations to take action through their social media.
Policy White Papers
As part of our advocacy efforts, we will analyze policy issues and will publish white papers. We will use these as part of our legislative outreach to the public, lawmakers and regulators, and we will also make these available for educational efforts to promote public health and awareness.
